Captivating Capiz


Capiz was originally founded as Town in 1693, Capiz is one of the five provinces in Panay Island, it composed of 16 municipalities and one is the city of Roxas. Roxas City is known as the Seafood Capital of the Philippines; Roxas City is abundant with yummy, delicious and mouth watering seafood’s like shells, 2 kinds of crabs (alimango or king crab and kasag or blue crabs), scallop, tahong, talaba, squid, lobsters, prawn and milk fish.




Popularly known as the ‘Seafood Capital of the Philippines’, Capiz has become one of the most visited provinces in the country. Boasting its wide stretch of coastline displaying its wondrous swampy lands which are easily covered as ponds, Capiz has been one of the leaders of the Visayan Region aquatic industries. Aside from the major contributions to marine production, Capiz has managed to present a great display of exotic explorer spots.
And of course we have a three Main attraction Beaches which are- Bay Bay beach - is one of the biggest beaches in Province of Capiz located at Capital City Roxas City Capiz.





Baybay beach- is the most places to visits because if it’s clean black sand and has beach houses, motorboats, for boating, and fishing this is good for water sking.




Virgin beach - a beach located at Municipality of Ivisan Province of Capiz it is a beautiful beach and relaxation for everyone with its white sand beach it is also abundance of sea foods.



Agpayao man made lake - located at Municipality of Cuartero Agpayo Lake is reached for all kind of transport, also in foor, and all weather roads. The Lake has 7 hectare area and almost thirty feet water fall. It is L-shape Lake surrounded by forest hills.
